Refund policy

Damaged or wrong item? We replace it.
If your order arrives damaged, leaking, wrongly picked, or is not what was described on the product page, we will replace it or refund it in full. No arguments, and no return shipping cost to you.
Email hello@malenaduspecials.com with your order number and a photo of the item within 7 days of delivery, and we will sort it out.
What we will always take back
In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we will take back goods or refund your money if the product is:
- defective, damaged, or spoiled on arrival;
- deficient in quantity, or a wrong item sent;
- not of the characteristics or features described on our website; or
- delivered materially later than the stated delivery schedule (except where the delay is caused by events outside our control, such as floods, strikes, or courier network failures).
What we cannot take back
Because everything we sell is food or a topical preparation, we cannot accept returns on items that have been opened, used, or had their seal broken, unless the item was faulty. This is a food safety requirement, not a commercial policy — once a pack is open we have no way of verifying it can be safely resold.
For the same reason, we do not offer change-of-mind returns on unopened items. If you have ordered the wrong size or variant, contact us within 24 hours and we will do our best to amend the order before it ships.
Cancelling an order
Orders can be cancelled or modified within 24 hours of being placed, provided they have not already been dispatched. Email us with your order number.
Refunds
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method via Razorpay within 4–5 working days of approval. Your bank may take a few additional days to reflect the credit.
Grievance redressal
We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month of receipt.
